Where Have the Watkins been?

Does anyone ever really blog anymore? I haven't for a super super long time, yet am thankful for those that do since it gives me something to do while watching the same kid show over and over. ;) I do have lots of pictures to share so enjoy the memories!!

July- My neice Karah came to visit with her 4 kiddos over the 4th of July. We had lots of fun swimming, seeing the sites of LV and just hanging out having a good time. I posted pictures out of order and wrote titles that should match with it, but they don't. After we drove down into Oregon we stopped at Sequio National Forest and then spent the night in San Fransisco. We also stopped in Sacramento to see my brother in law and his girlfriend. Then we headed on down to Disneyland and spent a couple days with Mickey. Finally, we made it back home!

).

After a week of fun I drove back to Seattle with Karah, her 4 kids and 3 of my kids. Yep, 7 kids and 2 adults!! It was a fantastic trip and I can't wait to do it again. The sites on the west coast are just beautiful. We drove up through Idaho to Seattle and stayed for a week. Paul flew up to drive home with me and the kids. We took a week driving down the coast of Oregon and California. Simply beautiful and stunning scenery, I tell ya! After not seeing the sun for a week I was excited to be reaquainted with its beautiful rays.

We stopped at the Tillamook cheese plant in OR. Fun spot!

We stopped at a lot of beaches in Oregon and the temperature outside and in the water was freezing! My kids didn't care! They loved the water and had to be forced back into the car.

A little rainforest in OR and Camryn thought she found a new pet to bring home. Um, no!!

Sequoia National Forest. Now those are some big trees!

August- My boy turned 18 this month and started working as a pizza delivery driver. We are holding off on school until summer and then possible full time in the fall.

September- I became one year closer to 40. Yep, my dirty 30's are almost over so I better party it up....hahaha. Hubby knows what I love and I love Disneyland!! Just Paul and I went there for my birthday and had a superb time. There's just something a little more magical when you go to Disney with NO kids. Thanks hunny!!

October- My favorite month of the year!! We all wear the same costumes over and over after going to endless parties, numerous school functions, and fun family nights. The kids always love getting free candy and usually after one block they're tired and done which is what momma likes.

We also went to Disneyland for their Halloween party. Seriously!? We came home with over 50 pounds of candy. Good name brand chocolate candy. We had such a fun time and look forward to going again.

November-Our family took a dream trip to Hawaii!! We went to the island of Oahu and LOVED every minute of it. Boy, it was a pricey place to visit when you're feeding 7 people 3 meals a day! Yet, it was an awesome expreience for the kids and a good time to reflect on how good life really is.

December- Merry Christmas!! Hawaii was our main gift for everyone, but the kids and ME still made out with fantatstic gifts. It was a great month of being with family, cooking, and not working for 2 weeks!! We also visited the Grand Canyon, went to Bearazonia and went on the Polar Express in Williams, AZ. We love to travel!!

January- My man turned 41 and off to Disney we went....just the two of use which Paul decided was only fair since he didn't get a big hoorah for his 40th birthday the year before. Jaxon also turned 5 this year and we celebrated with a Lego party. It turned out fantastic and he had such a great time.

February- Yes, we took a last trip to Disney with kids this month. I say last due to the fact that our annual passes expire soon so this will be our last venture to the happiest place on earth for awhile. Boooo!! We had such a great time and I was a bit sad to know that we wouldn't be back for awhile, but we'll survive....not sure if Paul will or not.

Valentine's Day was full of love. We started our day with pink pancakes with straweberries and whipped cream. Cam had all pink/red foods in her lunch and for dinner I made ziti (which is red).

Well, maybe I'm caught up for a bit. Nope, not yet. It's now June and I have to to still add pictures from Halloween, Hawaii, and maybe some more Disney. Plus, Maddie turned 14, Jaxon turned 7, and Camryn turned 8. Plus, Paul and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Details on our planned trip will be coming up soon!!
